Bill Byrson is one of my favorit travel write. He have this self-deprecation and weird sense of humour in very situation even in unpleasant or critical one. I think that every one needed, mostly for for people who like travelling.
The small island in the tittle refer to Great Britain. Before going back to US, Bill travelling again all around Great Britain. Many place, people have been changed for the past 20 years.
